Gut Ellernwurth is a farm that you don't really find anywhere else. As a three-sided farm with its own church tower and long chestnut avenue, it has a unique atmosphere. The estate has a long history, which can also be read about on the Internet. Founded as a breeding farm for thoroughbreds, it has also been a café, discotheque, training center and much more in the meantime.
Gut Ellernwurth is currently used as a horse breeding farm. Around 40 horses have their home here. The farm has generously sized boxes, loose boxes and foaling boxes. The pasture areas are spread around the farm; some are owned and some are leased.
There are two outdoor arenas for riding, one 20 x 40 m and one 20 x 70 m. The small indoor arena (17 x 26 m) with its baroque windows is ideal for free riding or lunging.
Ellernwurth currently has 6 residential units. The generously proportioned house (approx. 380 m2) with its unique hallway can be occupied by two families or generations. In addition to the normal oil heating, the main house has two fireplaces. A further apartment of 160 m2, two apartments of 100 m2 and one of 50 m2 complete the picture. Further living space is available and can be extended.
Gut Ellernwurth is so unique in its construction that it never ceases to amaze. The attics alone are an absolute sight. With their size, they can easily compete with many a church.
Gut Ellernwurth can therefore be used in many different ways. Of course, it is still possible to keep horses. But the farm is also a great venue for events. Weddings in the tower, parties in the attic, dancing in the hallway; anything would be possible.
Another idea would be a rehabilitation center for horses, a veterinary clinic or a center for equine-assisted therapy.
Of course, vacation apartments could also be built. Or a cultural center. Or housing projects for old and young together.
Gut Ellernwurth offers so many possibilities, you just have to have an entrepreneurial spirit.
Currently, the rental of the apartments and a possible rental of the existing horse boxes could generate income in the five-figure range.

Gut Ellernwurth is part of the Wurster North Sea coast and is therefore located in a popular vacation region in Germany. It is about 3000 meters to the sea; the sea can be seen from the tower of the farm. The village of Wremen is 1.5 km away. There you will find a nice selection of restaurants, from haute cuisine to fish restaurants. A bakery, a grocery store and several pretty stores for browsing and shopping. In summer, Café Dahl sells the best ice cream ever. There are plenty of opportunities to chill out and snack on the beach, e.g. in the Strandhus, with good music and your feet in the sand. Wremen is close to Bremerhaven and therefore has a very mixed rural-urban population. Both nearby Dorum and Bremerhaven itself offer every opportunity for shopping. Wremen is a Mecca for kitesurfers and is therefore becoming an increasingly attractive attraction for young people. Festivals are held in the surrounding area in summer. Extensive cycling tours are also a must. All in all, Ellernwurth is located in an area that has a lot to offer both young and old. The recreational value and clean air are virtually priceless.
