Location
The village of Bardowick, with a population of 7000, is located north of Lüneburg, approx. 7 kilometers from the city center (Lüneburg market square). Lüneburg city center can be reached in approx. 20 minutes by public transport and 15 minutes by car. Bardowick has a large selection of shops and restaurants. There is a secondary school and an elementary school as well as two daycare centers in the town center.
The A39 towards Hamburg can be reached in a few minutes by car. There is also an hourly Metronom train from Bardowick station to Hanover or Hamburg.
