Location
The apartment building is located in a quiet, well-kept residential area in the south-eastern part of Dortmund's city center. The city center, Kaiserviertel, Kreuzviertel and Westfalenpark can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. In this residential area, many daily needs can be easily met without a car: shopping facilities (e.g. Aldi: 350 m, Edeka: 350 m, REWE: 400 m), doctors, schools, daycare centers, car rental (70 m), swimming pools, but also the Stadewäldchen (450 m) can be reached on foot in a few minutes. The nearby subway station "Markgrafenstraße" (600 m) is a junction for the U41, U45, U47 and U49 light rail lines and offers a direct connection to the city center and Dortmund Central Station. Bus stops (200 and 350 m) for the 453 line and the NE5 and NE6 night express lines round off the good public transport connections.
For residents or visitors with cars, there is free parking on the street and in the surrounding area. There are excellent connections to the regional and national road network (B1/A40, B54, Märkische Straße, Heiliger Weg). Electric cars can be charged at the lantern chargers in Wenkerstraße.
