There are several kindergartens, a primary and secondary school as well as stores for daily needs (Norma, Rewe, bakery, butcher, ....) in the village.
Medical care is provided by several practices.
There are two train stations from which you can quickly get to Fürth and Nuremberg (just a few minutes' walk away). Commuters can also reach these cities very easily via the Südwesttangente (approx. 15-20 minutes).
