The roof is completely watertight, even during heavy rain. Ebersberg offers culture, nature, lakes, relaxation, and excellent transport links to Munich. The municipality is located 30 km east of Munich and is the center of the Ebersberg district, with excellent infrastructure and a high quality of life. A small personal note:
We bought this house because it was the most interesting property in the area around Munich. We need to sell it because our sons live abroad and we are too old to manage it. After a six-month search around Munich, my wife discovered this building project because she could read architectural plans, and the split-level design went against the prevailing norms. While we were at the sales booth on the construction site, a man was studying everything very intensely and asking factual, technical questions. Later, in the beer garden with a view of Ebersberg and the surrounding landscape, including "our house," the conclusion was: buy. We both bought properties, and at that early stage, we were still able to choose a house with the best location. The location has become even better because the new shopping center with doctor's offices (and the old town center) are within walking distance. The civil engineer who oversaw the project bought the fifth house in our row. With his help, we were able to customize the interior design. The tile stove, a traditional Tyrolean design, was built by the master craftsman Gar and his son. The tiles are from the artist's workshop in Wasserburg. The sunroom with underfloor heating has become the focal point for the family. There isn't a parallel row of houses because the small development (only eighty detached houses) was designed like a village. In front of us is the Klostersee lake, and the boys used to go there in their swimsuits. We are located on the mountain of Ebersberg, in a nature reserve right outside our door. We would still love to be there.
