Schöneck is located in the Main-Kinzig district on the edge of the Wetterau, not far from the "Hohe Straße" recreational area (part of the Rhine-Main Regional Park).
The Taunus (approx. 25 min. drive), Spessart (approx. 35 min. drive) and Odenwald (approx. 45 min. drive) can be reached quickly via the A661, A66, A45 and A3 highways.

Oberdorfelden train station is a 5-minute walk away, from where there is a direct connection to Frankfurt Central Station via Bad Vilbel and Frankfurt/West with the Niddertalbahn ("Stockheimer Lieschen"), journey time approx. 30 minutes.
There is also a bus connection to Hanau.

Schöneck and neighboring Niederdorfelden offer many shopping facilities (including REWE, Lidl, Aldi, Norma, Tegut, Rossmann), as well as restaurants, banks, doctors, pharmacies, several kindergartens and an elementary school.
