An ideal starting point for many varied excursions by bike, canoe or on foot.
There is an active community life if you like. In addition to the village store, Öflingen offers a KulTurm with a variety of cultural events, a community library, as well as sports, music and carnival clubs. All are within easy reach.
Infrastructure:
There­ are restaurants, a pharmacy, doctors, daycare centers and an elementary school directly in Öflingen, as well as a direct public transport bus connection to the secondary school in Wehr and the grammar schools in Bad Säckingen and Schopfheim. Public transport: by bus to Schopfheim via Wehr and to Bad Säckingen via Wehr-Brennet station (trains run to Rheinfelden - Basel Bad and to Waldshut Tiengen-Lauchringen).
