Creußen is a growing town in the Upper Franconian district of Bayreuth with around 5000 inhabitants. It is located in Franconian Switzerland about 13 kilometers south of Bayreuth on the B2, close to the A 9 freeway.
Creußen has excellent rail and highway connections to the university town of Bayreuth in the north and to Pegnitz in the south - 10-15 minutes by both means of transport.
There are also excellent local connections via the train and the A9 highway, which is about a 10-minute drive away.
