Koblenz is located on the tributary of the Moselle into the Rhine in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate. To the west of Koblenz is the Koblenz autobahn junction, where the A 61 (Cologne - Mannheim / Ludwigshafen) and A 48 (Trier - Frankfurt) autobahns meet.
