The property is located in the heart of Gmund, pleasantly shielded from through traffic and offers not only very good public transport connections by land and water, but also an excellent infrastructure.
Here you can buy fresh bread rolls on foot from the "hippest" bakery around Lake Tegernsee or visit the well-known Café Wagner. Gmund - a place with history and reputation:
Gmund is located on the northern shore of Lake Tegernsee, where the source of the Mangfall river begins. First mentioned in writing in 1075, Gmund's most famous personalities include the painter Joseph Karl Stieler, former German Chancellors Ludwig Erhard and Franz-Josef Strauß, the architect Sep Ruf and the entrepreneurs Hubert Burda and Willy Bogner.
The famous Berggasthof Neureuth can be reached on foot in around 1.5 hours or by e-bike in 30 minutes, where you can enjoy a fantastic view of the lake and a wonderful snack. The famous lakeside sauna in Tegernsee is only about 20 minutes away by bike and the Herzogliches Brauhaus "Bräustüberl" can be reached in another three minutes - you can also take the state boat or bus from Gmund. The two nearby boat landing stages - Gmund Seeglas or Gut Kaltenbrunn - can be reached on foot from the apartment in 10 or 20 minutes and the exclusive Bad Wiessee golf course with its wonderful restaurant is only 20 minutes away by bike or about an hour's walk.
Gmund is also ideally located for long excursions: you can reach Innsbruck or Salzburg in just 1.5 hours and Lake Garda in a good 4 hours.
