Großenaspe is a municipality in the district of Segeberg on the edge of the Segeberger Forest with approx. 3,000 inhabitants. The municipality is located between Neumünster in the north (approx. 12 km) and Bad Bramstedt in the south (approx. 11 km). The cities of Kiel and Hamburg can be reached via the A7 highway (approx. 30 and 40 minutes' drive respectively). Großenaspe also has an AKN connection (S-Bahn between Neumünster and Hamburg).
