The house is from the 1930s, but it has been completely gutted in the last 5 years and is now virtually in new-build condition. And the financing doesn't cause any sleepless nights, I can live in one half and rent out the other half.

Quietly located, yet not far from the center of Eitorf.
Stromberg is more Eitorf oriented like Windeck.
You live here in a quiet green area near the nature reserve Windecker Ländchen. You can walk to the most beautiful sections of the Sieg River in 10 minutes. Local recreation possibilities for jogging, walking or cycling are directly in front of your door. Public transportation is just a few minutes away. Endweder in 10 minutes walk to the train station Herchen with large free parking and from there every 20 minutes to Cologne. Or by bus within 5-10 minutes to the main town of Eitorf or Herchen train station, where you can easily change to the public transport of the Deutsche Bahn. The freeway A559 can be reached in about 20 minutes.
Shopping facilities such as supermarkets, specialty stores, pharmacies, post office, banks, doctors can be found in the nearby town center of Eitorf.
And by the way, they live in the country much more relaxed and carefree. You can move around in your house or outside with manageable restrictions.
There are enough parking possibilities. On the street to the right of the sidewalk is a sufficient parking strip for 4 vehicles or in the driveway up to 3 vehicles
In Stromberg there used to be a well-known camping site, many people from Cologne got stuck in Stromberg because of it. Legendary is the Indian and Western Club 7 Ratsfeuer Köln e.V. with its summer festival.
