In 2023, a powerful 12 kW stand-alone solar system was installed on the main house. It is capable of three-phase current, has a modern 12.5 kWh lithium storage unit and is capable of emergency power supply - ideal for an independent and sustainable power supply. The system enables self-sufficient living in a rural environment and is a valuable contribution to energy independence. The system has been running completely trouble-free since 2023 and switches between grid and solar power without any problems.
The house is currently supplied by an oil heating system. Which is from November 1996. It is therefore still eligible for subsidies!

Tiessau is in a quiet but central location in Lower Saxony's Elbe Valley. Shopping facilities, medical care and schools can be found in nearby Hitzacker or Dannenberg.
