Our house is located in Schindhard, a community away from through traffic and yet close to shopping facilities (Aldi, Lidl and Rossmann within walking distance) and the small town of Dahn, 2 km away. So you are not far from all shopping facilities, restaurants, schools and leisure facilities, kindergartens etc. and still live in a completely quiet location in the beautiful Dahner Felsenland. Hiking trails run directly from the house and the view leaves nothing to be desired. Karlsruhe can be reached by car in about 45 minutes, Landau in about 30 minutes and Pirmasens is about 20 km away.
In addition to the shopping facilities already mentioned (Aldi, Lidl, Rossmann, SBK, Penny, Netto, etc.), there is a wide range of catering facilities, doctors, schools, three kindergartens, a swimming paradise with sauna area, a campsite, spa gardens, etc. The nearest hospitals are in Pirmasens, Landau and Bad Bergzabern.
