Oh yes: Dogs are expressly not welcome. Unfortunately, I had some pretty bad experiences. Sorry!

Location
Centrally located. 5 minutes walk to the market, bakery, restaurants, supermarket, town hall and more. Freeway access in all directions, reachable in 5-10 minutes. Local recreation in the forest uphill (!) in 10-15 minutes on foot.
The state capital Saarbrücken can be reached in 15 minutes by car or in 30-40 minutes by public transport.
