The bungalow with granny apartment was built in 1982 in solid construction on a plot of approx. 511 m². The living space extends over two floors and is approx. 229 m², plus a usable area of approx. 84 m².
The façade is made of high-quality clinker brick and was insulated during construction. The flat roof was renewed with insulation in 2007.
The shed roof above the entrance hall and the large bathroom is an architectural highlight. The residents benefit from high rooms and more light in this area.
The main apartment comprises a bright entrance area on the first floor, the living room with tiled stove and access to the garden, three bedrooms, two bathrooms and the kitchen. The large bathroom was modernized a few years ago and has a floor-level shower. A spiral staircase leads to the basement. The 2nd living room also has a tiled stove and direct access to another terrace. The 3rd children's room is also located in the basement. The basement area has 5 rooms, including an approx. 33 m² hobby room and a sauna room.
Most of the living area has parquet flooring, while the bathrooms and kitchen are tiled. The upper terrace has an electric awning, which was installed a few years ago. The windows of the shed roof can be operated electrically. There is a power connection in the basement.
The rear façade with garden access faces south-west.
The granny apartment has its own separate entrance. The rooms include a hallway, a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room/bedroom. In the 1990s, a breakthrough was made from the main apartment to the granny apartment so that these two units are connected. The floor plans show one variant with and one variant without a connection between the two residential units.

The bungalow is located in a good residential area in the city center of Marl in the immediate vicinity of Alt-Marl. In the immediate vicinity are the Hügelhäuser, a spacious sports field and numerous restaurants within walking distance. Grocery stores, schools and kindergartens are also within easy reach. The location offers good transport links to the A 43, A 52 and A2 highways. The Münsterland region begins to the north of Marl with numerous local recreation areas, such as the Haltern reservoir.
