Location
Laboe is a municipality in the Probstei district of Plön and is located on the eastern shore of the Kiel Fjord. The location offers good connections to Kiel as well as access to maritime infrastructure. The municipality is considered a residential area with above-average recreational value. The town has two marinas, a spa and bathing beach and a largely natural dune landscape. A wide range of catering facilities are also available.
The beach promenade is ideal for walks all year round. Various types of ships can be observed from there, including sailing boats, cruise ships, merchant ships and naval units. The paths along the coast and through the adjacent meadows and woodlands offer recreational opportunities for cyclists and hikers.
The apartments are located in the center of Laboe. Facilities for daily needs - supermarkets, pharmacies, doctors' surgeries and restaurants - are within walking distance. There is a weekly market on Thursdays where regional vendors sell fresh food. Fish can be purchased directly at the harbor.
