The municipality of Hohenwart hereby announces that a vacant plot of land (Am Sonnbichl 4) in the Kerschberg II development area is being offered for sale to the highest bidder. The plot is located near the center of Hohenwart, as well as the school and kindergarten. The plot has an area of 534 square meters. The exact location of the plot can be obtained from the municipal administration. A location map is attached. On September 21, 2026, the bids will be opened in a closed session of the municipal council, and the plot will be awarded. Bids must be submitted no later than Monday, September 21, 2026, at 12:00 PM at the town hall. Please send your bid in a sealed envelope addressed to the municipality of Hohenwart, Marktplatz 2, 86558 Hohenwart, with the inscription "Bid for the allocation of the building plot Kerschberg II." The auction will be conducted on a highest bid basis. The highest bidder will be awarded the plot, provided that the bid reaches the minimum price of 288,360 euros. The sale of the plot will be conducted as described and without any warranty. If the highest bidder fails to sign the purchase agreement within 30 days of the auction, the municipality reserves the right to award the property to the second-highest bidder. After the sale of the property, construction must commence within 5 years, and completion must be achieved no later than 8 years after the date of sale.
