The typical log cabin character creates a warm and pleasant atmosphere. Our newly built holiday homes from 2018, made of solid log walls, are in the Alpine chalet style, with a log sauna and a fireplace in each, and are visually and technically state-of-the-art. The houses are approximately 75 square meters in size and can accommodate a maximum of 5 people. The large panoramic windows are oriented towards the Erlebnisberg (Bocksberg). Our 6 log cabins are 6 individual houses constructed from solid, massive logs. All the houses are built on stilts, just like the traditional log cabins found in Austria and Switzerland. This is a unique feature throughout the Harz region. The interiors are almost identical, with the exception of the color scheme. Our log cabins are furnished in a stylish and modern mix, yet still offer a cozy atmosphere. Each log cabin features:
A comfortable living area with a fireplace, as well as an open-plan kitchen with a spacious dining area that can accommodate 5 people, providing a high level of comfort and moments of relaxation.

Our block-built holiday homes are located directly on one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the Harz region, right at the edge of the forest at the end of the village, in a cul-de-sac. They are very quiet, yet still centrally located. The heart of Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße, with its cable car, the "Bocksberg" adventure mountain, as well as numerous restaurants, shops, and a supermarket. The village center is only about 400 meters from our homes, close but not noisy. Hahnenklee is "THE" holiday destination in the Harz region! Hahnenklee is an ideal vacation spot for young and old, with many attractions and numerous hiking opportunities. With an altitude of approximately 600 to 750 meters above sea level, the village is one of the most snow-reliable places in the Harz region. Hahnenklee is a holiday destination in the Harz region, and thanks to the many investments made in recent years, and planned for this year and the coming years, Hahnenklee is one of the biggest tourist attractions in the Harz region. This year alone, another summer/year-round toboggan run was opened, which will attract even more visitors to Hahnenklee. The overnight stay numbers speak for themselves; in 2022, Hahnenklee had approximately 450,000 overnight stays, and in 2023, approximately 480,000. Hahnenklee offers a wide range of leisure activities for all age groups. These include:

Our website, as well as our Instagram and Facebook pages (Harzblockhaus) with over 2,200 followers, can also be acquired. This significantly simplifies further marketing efforts. Since 2012, we have been renting log cabins/chalets in the Harz region, so we naturally have a loyal customer base. Any already booked periods can, of course, also be transferred. Based on years of experience with both large and small log cabins and chalets in the Harz region, we have found that smaller log cabins offer a significantly higher return on investment and are also much easier to rent out than larger holiday homes, especially those located further from the town center. The central hub in Hahnenklee is Rathausstraße, with its cable car, the "Bocksberg" adventure mountain, and the numerous restaurants, shops, and supermarket.
