Nordstrand - Big House

The house offers many possibilities of use and has a long tradition on Nordstrand. A multi-generation house with 3-4 large apartments, up to 6 vacation apartments or a residential house with a commercial part (the flat building to the right of the main building is part of it) (workshop, office, practice, garage for up to 7 vehicles) is possible. The living space could be extended to approx. 680 m². The lower floor was renovated in 2018, including new windows, doors, floor coverings, electrics and heating system. The upper floor (approx. 150 m²) consists of former guest rooms and still needs to be renovated. As the walls are drywall, this area can still be freely designed.

The top floor can be converted to create a fantastic view of the North Sea.

Plot size approx. 1,430 m². On a further plot in front of the house with approx. 420 m², there are approx. 30 parking spaces.

The house is situated on an inland dyke and is approx. 200 m from the North Sea dyke, which is ideal for long walks. Behind the house is the breakfast terrace and in front of the house is the "Klönschnackbank", each with a wide view over the island. There is another seating area in the inner courtyard.

The Nordstrand peninsula, the green heart of the Wadden Sea, lies in the middle of the unique world of the Halligen, in the Wadden Sea World Heritage Site. Surrounded by an evergreen, protective sea dyke, the island is connected to the mainland by a 4 km long causeway. From Strucklahnungshörn harbor, the Adler ships take you to the entire island and Hallig world. It is the home port for shrimp cutters, excursion boats, supply vehicles, a station for the DGzRS lifeboat and the port of departure for the ferry to the neighboring island of Pellworm. The North Frisian district town of Husum is approx. 12 km away and offers all the attributes of a modern, lively small town. Described by Theodor Storm as a "gray town", Husum is also the center of the vacation landscape "Husumer Bucht" with 19 associated communities.
