The areas adjacent to the house are used as garden areas. There is a 100-year-old beech tree in the garden, which provides plenty of shade in summer. The property has its own water supply well, but this is not used.
The areas used next to the stable buildings (paddocks) for keeping horses are paved so that mud does not form. The substructure is filled with bark-free pine shavings (approx. 25 cm).
