Bestensee is located in southern Brandenburg in the district of Dahme-Spreewald, 32 km south-east of the Berlin city limits. Alexanderplatz and City-West are both approx. 43 km away. The village is located south of Königs Wusterhausen and is nestled in a beautiful landscape of forests and lakes. "Live where others go on vacation" is the motto of this community of around 9,000 inhabitants. Here you can live in the countryside without having to do without an intact infrastructure. The village and its charming surroundings offer everything a nature lover's heart desires. Bestensee is connected to Berlin by a regional train that runs every half hour - Berlin-Ostkreuz can be reached in just over 30 minutes. There are also regional and long-distance trains from Königs Wusterhausen and the S46 to Berlin Mitte.
Located on the outskirts of the village, the center with all the facilities for daily life [Aldi, Rewe, Netto, flower stores, restaurants, doctors, pharmacies, gas station, car repair shops, etc.] is within walking distance (approx. 15 minutes).
