This beautiful historic apartment building (MFH) was built around 1890 on robust fieldstone foundations and rises majestically opposite the imposing St. Nikolai church. Altefähr harbor is reportedly being expanded to meet the needs of the White Fleet and sailors. A brand new jetty is being built, additional berths created and a modern sanitary building erected. This will make the harbor even more attractive and offer sailors and tourists a more comfortable experience. Altefähr will thus become an even more important place for water sports and maritime life.
