The half-timbered house is located directly on a cul-de-sac in the forest and you have privacy despite the neighborhood.

The original house was built in 1900 in clay construction and extended over the years with hollow bricks to include a stable and barn.

In 1986, we took over the former farmstead and completely demolished and rebuilt it except for the foundation walls, which had to remain standing as it was located outside the development plan.

In total, the building complex has a width of approx. 4 m at the front and approx. 5 m at the rear over a length of approx. 30 m.

The house does not have a cellar, which is an advantage as the area is part of the Agger riverbed and water cannot run into the cellar in the event of flooding, as is unfortunately the case for many people here in the village.

On the first floor there is an eat-in kitchen, living room, bathroom with toilet, bathtub and shower tray, large hallway, laundry room, boiler room, room with oil tanks, cellar room, 2 rooms.

An open wooden staircase leads to the converted attic with bedroom, shower and WC, and 5 rooms in a row, 4 of which are connecting rooms.

Renovations have been carried out over the years. The floors are covered with high-quality tiles or laminate at the time of installation. Most recently, the eat-in kitchen was completely renovated in 2020 and a modern fitted kitchen with high-quality Neef appliances was installed.

The large living room, the former cowshed, was finished with clay plaster and part of one wall with Italian quarry marble.

Both the kitchen and the living room have access to the natural garden.

There is a 9 m2 garden shed at the back, which was used as a chicken coop for 1 year. It is clean, bright and immediately ready for the next flock of poultry.

There is also a meadow orchard on the property with
1 apple tree, 2 pear trees that are currently bearing fruit, beautiful elderberry and hazelnut bushes and 4 young apple trees, 1 mirabelle plum tree, 1 cherry tree and 1 walnut tree that will produce fruit in the coming years. Last year, 2 raspberry bushes, 2 gooseberry bushes and 4 grapevines were also planted here.

Of course, there is also a herb bed.

The plot currently consists mainly of lawn, so there are practically unlimited design possibilities.

There is also access to the garden from the street through a romantic arch of hawthorn, blackthorn, mahonia, beech and hazelnut that has grown over 30 years.

At the kitchen door there is a covered terrace where you can spend time even in rainy weather.

I would not like to conceal the fact that the house is still heated with the oil heating from 1986, which has served faithfully so far.

2 kindergartens and the elementary school with an after-school care center are within walking distance. Here, children can still play on the street or in the forest.

The village green, a meeting place for young and old, is also in the immediate vicinity. There are good shopping facilities nearby.
