The rental property is located in one of the administrative buildings of the former Bremer Wasserwerke (now swb AG), built in 1910. During the Second World War, the east side was damaged by a bomb and then lovingly restored. Red clinker bricks with glazed details support most of the building and are complemented by newly plastered walls.
In 2012, the building was extensively renovated and designed in such a way that it retains its historical charm while meeting modern requirements. Today, the Wasserwerk houses are the only buildings on Theodor-Heuss-Allee on the Bürgerweide side and look directly onto the exhibition halls.
