The landscape around the small village of Köhn is characterized by wonderful nature, tranquillity, clean air and proximity to the Baltic Sea. The nearby towns of Lütjenburg (approx. 15 km), Schönberg (approx. 8 km) and Selent (17 km) offer all stores for daily needs. The state capital Kiel is only approx. 30 km away. The district towns of Plön and Eutin are also both approx. 30 km away. The authentic Holstein countryside can be enjoyed especially in the summer months and during the harvest season. The village of Köhn has its own kindergarten. An elementary school is located in Schwartbuck, 2 km away, or together with the secondary schools (comprehensive school) in Schönberg, 8 km away.
