All living spaces are fitted with parquet flooring and wide interior doors. Large windows with electric shutters ensure bright rooms with a beautiful view outside. Controlled ventilation in each apartment ensures fresh air and, together with the underfloor heating, low heating costs. The entire complex is being built as a KfW Efficiency House 70 (in accordance with EnEV 2009). The bathrooms have spacious floor-level showers and offer space for a washing machine and dryer.
All apartments will be built with senior citizens in mind, thus enabling barrier-free living without thresholds.

In our assisted living facility in Sheridan Park, "AWONIA Gesellschaft für Wohnen und Pflege im Alter mbH" will be responsible for the care of the residents. AWO is a recognized non-profit organization, and as a subsidiary of Arbeiterwohlfahrt in Augsburg-Pfersee, it operates the "Christian-Dierig-Haus" senior center on Kirchbergstraße. This allows for the optimal utilization of existing resources for all residents. In our project, AWO also operates a centrally located care office that is staffed at fixed times. A qualified and dedicated contact person with social work training is available here to provide advice and support. As part of the basic services and the monthly care fee, the caregiver will assist you in various ways, including:
* 24-hour emergency contact service
* A dedicated contact person with fixed consultation hours on-site
* Assistance with official matters
* Referral and organization of support services (e.g.,). (Foot care, physiotherapy, hairdresser, laundry service, apartment cleaning, shopping, medication, etc.)
Service for storing apartment keys. Organization of assistance in case of illness and upon discharge from the hospital. The monthly care package for a one-person household is €112. This package includes on-call service and emergency assistance, including the cost of the equipment. The care service provides mediation, coordination, and arrangement of the following optional services offered by the AWO:
In-home medical and elderly care. Medication administration. Household services. Securing a day care place at the Christian-Dierig-Haus. The AWO guarantees all owners and tenants of our assisted living complex preferential admission to the residential care facility at the "Christian-Dierig-Haus" in Augsburg-Pfersee, located on Kirchbergstraße.
