The exterior of the architect-designed house is based on the Jura style and was built in 1992 in a modern shift-level style (half storeys). The floor-to-ceiling and room-high patio and balcony doors allow plenty of light into the interior of the house. The strong brick walls, the impressive shutters and the use of high-quality oak parquet and marble floors give the house its special charm.
The garage is connected to the house via a covered passageway. There is a covered woodshed on the north side of the house, which can be used to store wood and tools.

A conversion of the heating system for ecological reasons to a log gasifier or pellet boiler with a 10.6 kW PV system and 7 kW storage tank as well as a heating rod for hot water preparation has been planned and the conversion could be resumed at any time. However, the well-insulating brick walls also offer potential for other innovative forms of heating.
