From the spacious terrace with covered seating area and outdoor fireplace you enter the lovingly landscaped green garden. With its colorful flower beds, fruit trees and pretty pond, it invites you to relax and linger.

Nordstrand juts out as a peninsula into the unique Schleswig-Holstein Wadden Sea and UNESCO World Heritage Site, about 15 minutes by car from the North Frisian Stormstadt Husum on Husum Bay. The seaside resort with a connection to the mainland is increasingly becoming an insider tip and fulfills all the wishes and expectations of North Sea lovers. Hikes through the mudflats, endless bike paths through meadows and fields, bird paradise, wide views over the dikes, carriage rides to the Hallig, dreamy places, North Sea in all directions, pure nature.

From the nearby harbor Strucklahnungshörn you can take a ferry to the island of Pellworm and start excursions e.g. to Hallig Hooge, Hallig Langeness, Hallig Gröde, to the seal banks, to Amrum, Föhr, Sylt and Helgoland.

Everyday life on Nordstrand is taken care of. Two supermarkets, bakers, cafes and restaurants, swimming pool and spa center, kindergarten and elementary school. Fresh fruit, vegetables, milk and eggs can be bought directly from the farmer or in the health food store.

Within walking distance are bus stop with connection to Husum, doctors, hairdresser and a savings bank machine.
