Location
The picturesque wine village of Kasel is located 7 km from Trier. From here you have a fast connection to Luxembourg (approx. 10-12 min. to the Lux. highway) - faster than from Trier. There are 4 ways to Trier city from Kasel (through the valley + highway each 13 min. to Verteilerkreis/ 15 min. to university/ 20 min. to Petrisberg, on the other side of the river to the FH 20 min.), so that no matter where you work in Trier/Lux. you can get through easily. Very good bus connections (Trier train station 30 min., to the university 30 min.). Bus stop 5 min. walk. Shopping facilities directly at Wasgau or Norma between Kasel and Waldrach, bakery, doctors + pharmacy in the neighboring village. Kasel has a KITA, elementary school and a lively club life (musical, VHS, fire department, youth ring, senior citizens' meeting place...).
