Thatched-roof half-timbered house in our own forest

This beautiful and exclusive half-timbered house with thatched roof stands in the middle of a large, wooded plot.
Floor area of the house 21.75m x 11.25m = 245 sqm
The following work was carried out during the core renovation in 1980/81:
Foundation on a solid layer of earth with ring beam and floor slab, the oak framework blasted, partially renewed and relined, the thatched roof re-roofed, the interior masonry made of Ytong insulated on the exterior walls, double-glazed sash bar windows, Oil heating and solid fuel boiler for underfloor heating on the first floor and radiators on the upper floor (2 guest rooms and 2 bathrooms), open fireplace in the hallway and hot water fireplace in the living room, sauna, plunge pool and shower in the sauna anteroom, installation of a country-style kitchen. The upper floor was extended in 1985 with a large dormer on the east side and a smaller one on the west side.
The crippled thatched roof has been constantly maintained by specialist companies. A repair would certainly be appropriate.
The house is situated in its own forest and is surrounded by a large garden (mainly lawn and rhododendron bushes) and a fountain with a small pond as well as several terraces. There is also a carport for two cars, ride-on lawnmower and bicycles, sheepfold, chicken coop, earth cellar (typical for moorland), woodshed and a 16 m² log cabin close to the house. All surrounded by old oak, spruce, maple, beech and birch trees. The idyllic location guarantees relaxation and many leisure activities.

Important: The property is not suitable for keeping horses or sheep.

The property is located in the small moorland village of Klenkendorf on the Hamme-Oste Canal and belongs to the municipality of Gnarrenburg. Some worthwhile destinations for orientation:
Bremerhaven (35 km), Cuxhaven (70 km), Stade (35 km), Worpswede (25 km), Bremen (55 km), Bremervörde (10 km). Gnarrenburg (6 km).
