Location
The house is located close to the center and yet only a few meters from the water of the Havel. Within walking distance (approx. 60 meters) is a promenade with water access, which invites you to swim or relax.
Doctors, pharmacies, supermarkets, restaurants, schools and public transport such as buses and trains are just a few minutes' walk away. The University of Potsdam or the Science Park in Potsdam-Golm can also be easily reached by bike.
The transport connections: Autobahn A10, train ,bus even over water, are well developed. The surrounding areas of Potsdam, Berlin and the airports can be reached quickly. It takes around 10 minutes by train to get to Potsdam Central Station or 30 minutes to the Zoological Garden in Berlin.
Other facilities such as a music school, sailing school, sports clubs (including tennis, cricket, karate, motor sports, cheerleading, badminton), golf club, polo riding facility, regatta and water skiing course, riding stables with horse boarding, marinas with moorings, Bonhomme stud farm and much more are available in Werder or in the immediate vicinity.
All types of schools, a Waldorf school with a daycare center, a high school center and several daycare centers are also located in Werder. The educational campus of the Hoffbauer Foundation with two schools, a day-care center and a gymnasium will also be built soon.

Werder an der Havel, known as the city of flowers, with its historic old town is a state-approved resort and, according to the German Weather Service Potsdam, one of the cities in Germany with the most sunny days per year. The urban area is surrounded by numerous lakes and the Havel.
Berlin-Potsdam-Werder are connected to many lakes via the Havel. The city is located in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Potsdam cultural landscape, right on the doorstep of the vibrant metropolis of Berlin.
Our lake areas and the Havel river allow for many sports: sailing, motor boating, windsurfing, waterskiing, wakeboarding, paragliding, boat rental, chartering, fishing and much more.
In addition to the many offers already available, a Blütentherme (swimming and bathing fun with wellness area, lakeside sauna etc.), a harbor promenade and further marinas with additional berths are under construction.
