Healthy indoor climate in an EFH with garden in a quiet location

The former typical Finkenwerder fisherman's house was extensively modernized in 2012 and 2024 and offers a unique maritime living character. The original charm of the building was preserved during the renovation. Floors, stairs and windows are made of natural oak wood and thus match the historic roof beams. The clay plaster in the sleeping and living areas ensures a pleasant, healthy and guaranteed mold-free indoor climate. The room temperature-controlled wall heaters under the clay heat the house quickly and very economically in combination with the large thermal solar system. A water-bearing wood-burning stove in the kitchen replaces the former fireplace and is technically capable of supplying the entire house with heat and hot water. A gas heating system switches on automatically if necessary. The 200 square meter garden with two small terraces can be used for barbecues and relaxing. The parking lot is right next to the house.

The house is located in the 2nd row behind the dike in the old center of Finkenwerder with a friendly and helpful neighborhood. In the immediate vicinity there are smaller, mostly historic houses and the Elbe dyke. The office buildings of the supplier companies located around the Airbus factories can be reached on foot in just a few minutes. The Airbus factories themselves, the banks of the Elbe with a view of Blankenese and Rüschpark as well as Finkenwerder town center are also within walking distance.

The bus connection to the ferry terminal is just a 2-minute walk away. The HVV Elbe ferry takes you directly to the Landungsbrücken and from there you can continue to Hamburg Central Station or the airport. Finkenwerder is also well connected by car via the A7.
Alternatively, the HVV ferry in Rüschpark, which is a 5-minute walk away, takes you to Teufelsbrück. From here there are buses to the airport and to Altona or to S-Bahn line 1.

Finkenwerder has a very high recreational value due to the direct connection to the Alte Land, the banks of the Elbe at Rüschpark or the Elbe beaches on the other bank of the Elbe near Blankenese.

In Finkenwerder, the city of Hamburg is connected to the countryside. Here you have both within walking distance. In one direction to Hamburg city center, in the other direction on foot into the Nordic countryside or by bike into the old country.
