This cosy house (build in 2005) is very energy efficient. It has floor heating from a geothermal heat pump, which also heats the warm water. The house has an energy class of A+ and needs very little extra costs (Nebenkosten). There is also a beautiful wood and coal burning stove for the cold months. Plenty of wood is provided,
The bright rooms with natural and laminated wood floors make a comfortable environment. The windows are well insulated and also have removable fly screens. All bedrooms have Velux windows with solar powered shutters.

Nittel (Germany) is a lively wine village with good infrastructure three kilometres from Grevenmacher (Luxembourg). With the car you can get to Luxembourg city in 20-30 minutes. The Luxembourg airport is a 15 minute drive away. There are approximately 45 different nationalities living in Nittel. In the village there is a doctor, a bakery, a chemist, banks, a kindergarten, a school, different clubs (also for children) and a new supermarket is planned. There are lots of tempting culinary options and of course several vineyards to choose from. Every year there are many events organised such as a culinary marathon, Wine festival and Wine Learning Walk. There are great walking paths running through the village and also good bus connections to Luxembourg and Trier. There is also a train connection to Perl and Trier.
