Completely renovated half-timbered house in Barskamp. The house is located in the historic center of the village, with the 1,000-year-old church tower in the immediate vicinity. The garden is well exposed to the sun, idyllic and sheltered from the wind.

The house was completely rebuilt in 1980, even the foundations and floor slab are new. Still a listed building at the time, the historic floor plan and façade were rebuilt as faithfully as possible. However, the preservation order was officially lifted a few years ago. The house is comparable to a new building from around 1980, but with thermal insulation that is better than the usual standard at the time (see energy certificate: final energy requirement = 122 kwh/m2a).

The 274 square meters of living space are divided into:

Around 800 inhabitants live in Barskamp. The village has a kindergarten, an elementary school and a very active sports club with many activities. The river Elbe flows about 3-4 km from Barskamp, bordered by the "Elbtalaue Biosphere Reserve". About 8 km away is the town of Bleckede with doctors, pharmacies, lots of retail outlets (including Rewe, Aldi, Lidl, Edeka, Rossmann) and a DIY store. And Lüneburg is 30 km away.

There is a bus stop right next to the house (opposite the market square, maybe 100m), which makes it easy to reach Bleckede and Lüneburg by public transport.
